Apollon 2-in-1 Wooden Floater Panel – Paintable Wood Panel and Custom Frame

Create a coordinated artwork and frame with the Apollon 2-in-1 Wooden Floater Panel. This versatile painting surface combines a removable wooden art panel with a matching floater frame, giving artists the freedom to create a custom-finished piece without needing to purchase a separate frame.

The innovative 2-in-1 design allows you to remove the wooden panel, paint your artwork, and customise the frame independently using colours that complement your creation. Once your artwork is complete, simply reassemble the panel and frame for a distinctive, integrated presentation.

Made from Baltic birch wood, this versatile surface is suitable for a wide range of artistic techniques and creative projects. Although applying gesso is optional, you can prepare the wooden panel with a suitable primer if desired.

How to Use the Apollon 2-in-1 Floater Panel:

  1. Remove the panel: Turn the panel over and press firmly along the frame to release the wooden panel. Four small nails hold the frame and panel together.

  2. Create your artwork: Paint directly on the wooden panel using your preferred artistic techniques. Apply gesso beforehand if desired.

  3. Customise the frame: Paint the separate frame in complementary or contrasting colours to create a personalised finish.

  4. Reassemble your artwork: Protect your work surface, turn the finished artwork face down onto the protective material, and reposition the frame. Press firmly along the frame's edge to reattach it to the soft Baltic birch panel. A small hammer may be helpful if needed.
